condition of a property prior to any building work being

undertaken. The reports usually cover properties adjacent to

the targeted building site. Dilapidation reports reduce the

developer’s damage risk and record any damage of close-by

properties or structural buildings before construction works

begin. Dilapidation reports reduce the risk of damage claims

and costly litigation.
